UKRAINE: Alexander Vindman MSNBC

  • After multiple trips to Ukraine I have felt positive.  This was the most disturbing trip I have had.  Major shortfalls in artillery and munitions.
  • Russia is dropping massively destructive glide bombs.
  • The Russians are producing more drones.
  • This package is crucial but “too late.” There will be a major surge in late May by Russia.  Does our support get there in time?
  • The $61 billion aid package is expected to be passed.
  • NATO can get dragged into this if we don’t adequately supply Ukraine.
  • There are new mobilization laws in Ukraine.  How those laws are implemented is crucial.
  • ATACKAMS are essential.
  • Speaker Johnson only spoke up in the last couple of days.  Unless Ukraine is successful, we will see a situation in which Russia is emboldened.
