CNN: Cheatle Testimony
(Note: Raskin is calling for an assault weapons ban, but celebrating “bi-partisanship” They still don’t get it. This is a war. We need an attack on the Republicans, not efforts at bi-partisanship.)
- (Note: Bureaucratic babble from Cheatle). It’s an “ongoing investigation” This is the excuse used to refuse to answer questions.
- She said previously that there were no agents on the roof because it was sloped. Reports that it was hot and agents didn’t want to stand on the roof.
- FBI reported to the SS that the shooter used a drone that morning.
- The shooter had no identification. They identified him by the serial number on the gun. There are Republican objections to that system of keeping records of the serial numbers.
- (Note: Americans have lost the ability to ask simple, direct questions and give simple direct answers. “What I can tell you is…” “I appreciate the question…” “ensure we keep pace with…” “We are still striving…” “future and emerging needs…” “As I’ve stated ma’m…” “neutralized the threat….we need to analyze….I appreciate the question….
- Foxx is questioning Cheatle’s appointment as head of the SS as being involved with Biden’s family. She says many SS staff left in 2022. Cheatle says that’s inaccurate. Cheatle says the SS investigates Child exploiters? What role does the SS have in investigating “child exploiters?”
- (Note: The Democrats seem to think that it is their role to defend governmental agencies like the SS. This makes it impossible for them to ferret out the ilk that has pervaded these federal law enforcement agencies.)
- Cheatle won’t answer the question of whether high-powered guns make the job of the SS easier or more difficult? And at the same time she says the role of the SS is not “political.”
- “I’m unable to answer questions about details…”
- “I would hesitate to offer that information.”
- “I would have to defer you to the FBI>..”
- Grothman (Rep.) is saying that she spent time changing the make-up of the SS. He said, you thought there were too many men. (Note: Jesus).
DEMOCRACY NOW: Medhi Hassan
- Harris has tried to humanize Palestinians and criticize Israel, but was pulled back by the White House.
- Will Netanyahu be meeting with Biden? Harris?
- Does Harris help the vote in Michigan? There’s a lot of hatred for Biden among the pro-Palestinian community. We have to make it clear what Harris has to do to win back states like Michigan.
- AOC has said that the donor class and Democratic elites pushing Biden out are not supportive of Harris. Hassan thinks AOC and Bernie are wrong about Biden stepping out. Obama has not endorsed Harris. Pelosi has not either.
