A committee in the Prime Minister’s Office has been set up to recommend a name for the ongoing war in Gazaand, according to media leaks, Netanyahu’s preference so far is Milhemet Bereshit – Genesis War.
Perhaps it’s too much to expect from Netanyahu, the historian’s son, but if he was paying a bit of attention to actual history instead of his own delusions of historical grandeur, perhaps he would have learned that politicians very rarely, if ever, get to choose names for their wars.
