Videos and Images

• The terror evident in the videos and images feeds into widespread support for any Israeli action.  The fear is that this will legitimate Israeli actions that will merely feed the terror and violence.
• Ayman Mohyeldin (on MSNBC) has argued that the Israeli government has essentially been given permission to do anything they want in Gaza and elsewhere.  It is this permission structure, aided by the West (and especially the U.S.) which has created the situation we are currently experiencing.
